Questions and Answers on the Mountain

They ask me where's the sense

on Jasper mountains

I laugh and don't reply;

in hearts own grief;

Peach petals float their streams

away in secret

To other skies and earths

than those of mortals.

Springtime in the Rockies

early morning walks

Inhale, exhale

Forward, back

Living, dying:

Arrows, let flown each to each

Meet midway and slice

The void in aimless flight-

thus I return to the source.

Slipped, tumbled,
Mountain is quiet and alone.

BIRD HOUSES

I have a new table saw called a Stopsaw. And it won't cut off my fingers!  To acquaint myself with it I am making a few birdhouses for Christmas presents. I'm using scrap pine and copper that's been in my studio for years. Also using old tubes of caseine paint. Fun and I'm learning how to use this beautiful new piece of equipment.
