January 30th I posted, on this blog, a link to my husband's (Richard Boyle) upcoming book being published by Columbia University Press. 

He has been a Zen Buddhist student for 45 years. As a social scientist and a practicing Buddhist he's been interested in the experience of awakening, or enlightenment, or satori. There are many names for this state of clarity that can be experienced.
